INSPIRATION

Following on from the plaster casts made during studio investigations into plaster, moulding and casting, this little sculpture was carved from `Form 1’.

Inspired once more by a favourite walk in the Clent Hills, Worcester, I wanted to explore carving the plaster surface to create a relief and in so doing, capture the density of the forest’s entwining branches.
